Koji Kusumi is a Japanese photographer born in 1976. Inspired by the impact of his trip to Tibet at the age of 24, he has been creating works mainly inspired by religions and folklore. He aims to take photographs that evoke the coming and going of this world and the other world and serve as a boundary between the two. As the axis of his works, he has been visiting the Tibetan cultural areas for many years to photograph people and landscapes. He also produces work on the theme of photography itself.
